Peery's Egyptian Theater features the original Mighty Wurlitzer Organ--1,400 pipes, chest work, percussions, blower, and all elements of the winding system--manufactured in the 1920s.
Along with the original features, several state-of-the-art modern upgrades make this instrument a premier sound experience. Our Conover/Heath Theatre Organ Series hosts several concerts every year featuring the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ.

Wurlitzer Wednesdays
This musical series shows off the power and versatility of our Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ. Patrons are treated to an hour of show tunes and old favorites one Wednesday each month for the season. Seniors 65+ are admitted free of charge. Funding for this series comes from grants and donations.
Van Summerill Silent and Classic Cinema Series
 This series of silent and classic movies takes the audience back in time to enjoy a classic silent movie, accompanied by the Mighty Wurlitzer Theater Organ, just like it was in the 1920’s when silent movies were all that played at the Egyptian. The movie palace experience is alive and well at Peery’s Egyptian Theater.
